What it lets you finish
Write a description and lyrics and it returns a song with vocals whose breath and timbre read closer to a recording than most rivals. You can generate a whole song, or start with one section and extend forward, building the track piece by piece. It suits style demos, vocal references, and testing whether a delivery works.
Inputs and outputs
Input is text plus lyrics; some tiers accept uploaded audio as a starting point for extension or rework. Output is stereo audio, with stems on some tiers. Extension inherits timbre and key from the previous section but will not repair a bad section behind it. Every run is fresh sampling, so one prompt cannot reproduce one exact file. The listening examples and instances below are references for this kind of output, not this model's generations.
Strengths
- Breath, vibrato and diction on short phrases are close to a real take.
- Section-by-section extension lets you confirm a chorus before writing verses.
- On voice-led genres such as rock, soul and rap, the balance of vocal against backing is usually sensible.
- Re-singing the same lyric in several styles is cheap to compare, which helps pick a direction.
Weaknesses and failure modes
- Seams show: the reverb tail at the end of one section is cut, and the next section starts hard. A reproducible test is to loop the ten seconds around the join.
- Structure is conservative; the second chorus is often note-for-note the first. Variation needs manual lyric or description changes.
- Fast lines, elisions and Mandarin tones go wrong, and the longer the lyric the more errors; line-by-line checking eats time.
- Vocal timbre drifts between runs and occasionally sounds like another singer, especially after several extensions.
- Specific chords and exact tempos get a weak response; arrangement detail averages out into the genre's usual moves.
- Stems are not always clean, and the vocal stem may carry backing reverb that must be fixed before remixing.
Terms, price and alternatives
Confirm: commercial scope and release rights for your tier, the ownership terms for uploaded audio, the official statement on training data, and the conditions for stem export. Pricing is tiered; exact figures and regional availability belong on the official page. Alternatives: Suno for a whole song in one pass with stronger structure; ACE Studio when you need to control delivery and pitch syllable by syllable, at the cost of drawing the curves yourself.
